Belcan is looking for a Data Analyst to support manufacturing and aerospace projects at our customer facility in Windsor, CT. Incorporating data-driven decision making, this position will analyze large amounts of data for manufacturing trends and directly influence decision making on a daily/weekly basis.

Data Analyst Job Duties:

• Writing Excel Macros, manipulating data, automating reports
• Lead and support projects, schedule meetings, report out information, and demonstrate successful methods to work around roadblocks or delays.
• Evaluate data pull processes and recommend/implement process improvements
• Develop reporting processes, create work instructions, develop process improvements which may include automating data pulls and reporting, integrating multiple data reports, and standardizing methods.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Data, Finance, Business, STEM, or other related disciplines
• One or more years of work experience in a customer-facing role in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot charts/tables are a must-have
• Experience with VBA Macros and/or PowerBI is highly preferred
• Exposure to SAP preferred
• Strong self-management, with the ability to work independently and as a team
• Must be outgoing, enjoy solving problems, and be an excellent communicator (written and verbal).
• US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work
