Key Responsibilities:
Bridge business needs and data solutions by translating stakeholder requirements into data models, prototypes, and technical specifications.
Define what data is needed and how it should be structured to support organizational and program goals with downstream development.
Gather and document business and data requirements; identify data gaps and collaborate with developers to refine solutions.
Develop conceptual data models and database schemas.
Create prototypes (e.g., dashboards, data flows) to validate requirements.
Define KPIs, metrics, and success criteria.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
3-6 years' experience developing and leading analytics efforts to include data architecture, business process mapping and solution development.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance (Secret or higher).
Strong written, verbal, and customer engagement skills for stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Department of War or other federal agencies
Experience with energy and water utility management issues, especially associated with military installation management
