Dance Fitness Instructor

Job Summary

Digital Vibez is seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Fitness Instructor to lead engaging dance-based fitness classes for youth. This role combines instruction and creativity to help participants build confidence, improve physical health, and express themselves through movement. Classes are held at local schools and community sites.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead fun, high-energy dance fitness classes for youth
• Teach routines and fitness fundamentals
• Motivate participants and create a positive, inclusive environment
• Track attendance, monitor progress, and provide feedback
• Collaborate with team members to develop choreography and curriculum
• Support performances, events, and community engagements
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces
• Stay current with music and dance trends to keep classes fresh

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working with youth preferred
• Strong dance background (hip-hop, Latin, Caribbean, or other styles)
• Ability to engage and motivate groups of all ages
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Basic tech skills (Google Workspace, virtual platforms)
• Reliable transportation - classes are taught at afterschool/summer camp sites
