The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility distribution systems, data integration, and electrical network modeling, along with the ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve model accuracy and usability.
Responsibilities
- Update, maintain, and correct CYME equipment and network records
- Identify data quality gaps and implement corrective actions
- Integrate data from GIS, SCADA, AMI, and other enterprise systems into CYME
- Support users experiencing issues with CYME modeling and system functionality
- Develop user documentation, best practices, and operational workflows
- Assist with electrical system studies, analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate and effective model performance
- Required Qualifications
- Experience working with the CYME platform and electrical distribution system modeling
- Strong understanding of electric utility distribution systems
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage and maintain large sets of engineering and system data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience integrating utility enterprise systems such as GIS, SCADA, and AMI
- Experience with scripting or automation tools such as Python or SQL
- Utility industry experience supporting distribution operations or planning environments
- Hybrid work schedule
- Onsite presence is required Tuesdays and Wednesdays at:40 Cragwood Rd, South Plainfield, NJ
