We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Cycle Counter

This role, you will be involved in conducting daily cycle counts in the warehouse and manufacturing area. Performing inventory audits and preparing detailed reports of audit findings.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cycle counts. Enter all relevant cycle count or related data into the Oracle system via the applications program or via the telnet mobile applications program.
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity. Perform inquiries in the Oracle inventory system to identify details about material transactions, production schedules, PO receipts, Cycle Count Adjustments, Item Master Details etc. using Oracle 35% of the job.
  • Maintain product identification, location, assure that all areas, aisles and locators, related with inventory stock and movement are well identify.
  • Research inventory discrepancies. Work with other Operations departments to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner. Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory.
  • Move product, segregate inventory, Open cartons if necessary, move bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.
  • Track and report non-conforming product. Support on the identification, system transfers and updates for None Conforming Materials.
  • Perform scheduled audits for receiving and put away transactions, shipping order pulling, Scrap reporting, work label accuracy, audit in the staging areas and enter all relevant information in the Data Base. Communicate these results with Supervisor and leaders in the related areas.
  • Consolidate data and communicate with all concerned departments and ensure established processes/procedures are followed.
  • Use pallet jack, stand-up or sit-down forklifts with/without push-pull attachment.
  • Remain current on forklift training and certification as required by supervisor, manager, and/or Igloo Safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Experience: One (1) year cycle counting experience.
  • English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
  • Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiple and divide. Able to use fractions and percentages.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for 8 hrs. a day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate in a high noise level environment for extended periods of time.
  • Work environment: Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months.
  • Ability to operate a stand-up or man-lift/order picker forklift.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems and work independently.
  • Must have excellent attendance and complete quality work on time.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access.
  • Previous experience using Oracle.

Physical Demands & Conditions

(Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing)

Standing & Walking

Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.

Postural Requirements

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.

Lifting & Material Handling

  • Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.
  • Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use

Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.

Visual Requirements

Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.

Environmental Conditions

  • Work is performed in a production/warehouse setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100-120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.
  • High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.

Additional Job Considerations

These roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours. Technicians may be required to handle heavy molds and materials; use of material handling equipment is provided and encouraged.
