Cybersecurity Project Manager

Develops strategy and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects the affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. This role requires a candidate with a cybersecurity, compliance, or audit background who will collaborate with business units to develop, manage, and track remediation plans resulting from non compliance.

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager for a prominent client of ours. This is a Hybrid Role in Frisco, TX 75034 (3 days Onsite & 2 days Remote / week). Details for the position are as follows:
 
Pay Rate - $49.79/hr on W2
10 months Contract Role (HIGH Possibility for further extension)

Responsibilities:
Leads internal project to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing. Manages corporate and third-party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues.

This role requires a candidate with a cybersecurity, compliance, or audit background who will collaborate with business units to develop, manage, and track remediation plans resulting from non compliance. The individual will also prepare status reporting for outstanding issues and escalations and must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to determine when escalation is warranted.

Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovated solutions. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects the affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of total experience with at least 5+ years in project management roles or in like roles/businesses. Some experience managing Cybersecurity project required.
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key Services, operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniques.
PMP Certification nice to have.
