Job Overview A law firm seeks a Cybersecurity, Privacy & AI Associate to join their team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, privacy, and AI law, working in a collaborative and flexible environment.Duties Advise clients on state and federal privacy laws.Conduct deal diligence in mergers and acquisitions, financings, and commercial transactions.Provide strategic counseling on product development and governance programs.Handle data breach investigations and defense of regulatory actions.Support litigation and incident response efforts.Requirements Hands‑on experience with privacy laws and deal diligence.Familiarity with data‑driven technologies, including AI/ML and biometrics.Experience with GDPR/UK GDPR frameworks and international data transfers preferred.Knowledge of HIPAA, ECPA, Patriot/Cloud Act, and GDPR a plus.Experience with data breach response and defense of enforcement actions.Large law firm experience required.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Benefits Comprehensive health and dental insurance.Retirement savings plan.Professional development opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
