    Wood is recruiting for a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support its office operations in Greenville, South Carolina. This opportunity is on-site and offered on a temporary contract basis.

    The Temporary Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of administrative and front-office support services to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and business partners while supporting administrative processes, office coordination, and general business operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The temporary administrator provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to an office site.
    • Welcome visitors by greeting them in person; answering or referring inquiries.
    • Politely greets and answers or refers telephone inquiries.
    • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
    • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook.
    • Maintains safe and clean reception area, and office site by complying with processes and procedures.
    • Updates calendars and schedules meetings.
    • Keeps up to date records of office site reception expenses and costs.
    • Supports the distribution, receipt and sorting of daily mail.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Performs other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
    • Completes routine tasks and deals with situations and activities that are straightforward in nature.

    Expected:

    * High school diploma or GED.
    * Previous administrative, receptionist, or office support experience.
    * Excellent written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
    * Strong customer service mindset with a professional and welcoming approach.
    * Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
    * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
    * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
    * Experience operating standard office equipment, including printers, scanners, and multi-function devices.
    * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
