What you'll bring to the table:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a surgical setting, including CVOR and trauma work
- Proficiency working with adult through geriatric patient populations
- Hands-on experience with cardiac and vascular surgeries
- Knowledge of fire safety, aseptic techniques, laser safety, sharps handling, specimen handling and labeling, sterilization and disinfection, and universal protocol procedures
- Current BLS and NBSTSA certifications
- Experience in trauma Level II settings is required
Extra skills that would set you apart:
- Experience operating in community hospital environments
- Familiarity with Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, Gyn, Neuro, Ortho, Plastics, and Urology procedures
- Knowledge of organ donation processes
- Experience with Epic electronic health records
Preferred qualifications include a background in diverse surgical cases and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Youll be expected to work 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM, with a schedule that includes two call days per week, every third weekend, and flexibility to float to main OR and vascular OR as needed.
