What Youll Do
- Assist surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting
- Prepare operating room and surgical instruments for procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support surgeons with intraoperative assistance and patient positioning
- Document procedure details accurately for medical records
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:
- Valid BLS certification
- ABSA, NBSTSA, or NCCT certification (CVOR First Assistant preferred)
- Minimum 1 year surgical assisting experience, including endoscopic vein harvesting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience in cardiovascular surgery settings
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes
