Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CVICU Nurse Manager for an exciting permanent opportunity in Asheville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical and operational functions of the CVICU
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff in a collaborative environment
- Promote evidence-based practice and quality patient outcomes
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership on strategic initiatives
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
- Participate in administrative on-call rotation
Requirements
- BSN required, OR ADN with MSN, OR BA with MSN
- Current North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required
- National specialty certification required within one year of hire
- Minimum 5 years of recent nursing experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital leadership experience required
- Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager experience required
- Strong post-cardiothoracic and cardiovascular critical care background required
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous CVICU leadership experience preferred
Additional Information
- Administrative on-call coverage required approximately once every 6 weeks
