Customer Support Technician/Specialist

Duration: 10+ months

Location: Onsite at Pompano Beach, FL & Boca Raton, FL

Seeking for a Customer Support Technician/Specialist, where you'll provide expert-level technical support and ensure the stability and security of end-user computing environments. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, IT infrastructure support, process automation, and mentoring junior IT staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Mentor Junior IT Staff and provide end-user training on new technologies
  • Assist in file restores and basic network status checks
  • Diagnose and resolve high-level technical issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Coordinate audiovisual setups and video conferencing support
  • Manage and remediate workstations with security vulnerabilities
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
  • Contribute to IT projects and finalize internal documentation
  • Travel to remote locations to provide support as needed

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
  • Minimum two years' experience in customer service and quality assurance
  • Experience using a ticketing system and monitoring trends
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with hardware and software issues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Skills:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 0 to 1 year of IT work experience in computer systems or support
  • Learner/entry-level role providing Tier 1 support of low to medium complexity
