Role: Customer Support Specialist

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: 12 Months of Contract role (extendable for multiple years)

Job Description

  • Answers customer inquiries, primarily over the telephone, or e-mail.
  • Provides support in research and resolution of problems and inquiries from agency merchants and cardholders.
  • Research online social media and other internet platforms to detect fraud in the agency recipient fraud.
  • Performs system testing on agency system platforms.
  • Conducts agency retailer inventory audits to ensure program compliance.
  • Develops reports as needed or required.
  • Reviews vendor monitor reports and addresses any concerns.
  • Manages and communicates expectations internally and externally.
  • Other duties assigned as needed or required.

Education Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business, computer science or related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Ability to understand and apply concepts.
