As a Customer Support Associate, you'll complete the circle through Verizon Fios's training-to-sales pipeline: learning the product, meeting residents, solving their internet frustrations, enrolling them in better service, and following up. The Customer Support Associate role is all about education, application, service, and sales in one continuous loop.


Responsibilities of the Customer Support Associate

  • Provide warm, knowledgeable support to customers exploring Verizon FiOS, focusing on how fiber internet and TV simplify streaming, gaming, and remote work.
  • Identify everyday connectivity concerns through attentive listening, positioning FiOS solutions in a way that feels helpful rather than pushy during sales chats.
  • Break down pricing and bundle details into easy-to-grasp language, empowering residents to make confident choices throughout the sales journey.
  • Guide customers through account setup and installation scheduling with care, ensuring a seamless experience that strengthens sales credibility.
  • Document customer preferences and feedback accurately, helping the team refine outreach and improve future sales interactions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers, offering thoughtful follow-ups that turn initial interest into confirmed sales.

Qualifications of a Customer Support Associate

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong interest in customer support or sales is a plus.
