Be the First Point of Care in Helping Patients Get What They Need

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist I to join our Home Medical Equipment & Infusion team. In this role, you will be an important connection point between patients, providers, and care teams—helping ensure timely access to equipment and services that improve quality of life.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and wants to grow their career in healthcare operations. You’ll be part of a supportive, team-oriented workplace where your work directly supports patient care and recovery at home.

We value collaboration, learning, and professional growth—and we provide opportunities to develop new skills and advance within our organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk and by phone for patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners
  • Answer incoming calls and provide helpful, professional support in a high-volume environment
  • Process referrals and service requests from Case Managers, Referral RNs, physicians’ offices, ancillary services, and other referral sources
  • Coordinate and track orders for Home Medical Equipment & Infusion services to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update systems with patient and order information
  • Support daily office operations and assist with general administrative tasks as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports patient care

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • 1+ year of related experience preferred (healthcare, customer service, or office setting)
  • Additional experience with medical terminology, data entry, or pharmacy processes is a plus
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn

What We Offer

  • A meaningful role supporting patients who receive care at home
  • A supportive, team-oriented work environment where your contributions matter
  • Training and opportunities to build healthcare and administrative skills
  • Career growth opportunities within Home Medical Equipment, Infusion, and broader healthcare operations
  • A workplace culture built on respect, teamwork, and continuous learning
