Schedule: Tue - Thur, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (24 hours/wk)
Assignment Length: Approximately 12-Months, possibly longer.

DESCRIPTION

The Customer Solutions Representative I provides administrative and customer support services. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting customers, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting operational functions related to classes, events, and center activities.

Working under direct supervision, the CSR I processes incoming requests, maintains records, and ensures customers receive accurate and timely information about company programs, services, and policies. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills who enjoy working in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email regarding programs, services, and events.

  • Process incoming requests and customer inquiries according to established guidelines and procedures.

  • Support scheduling and coordination of training sessions, workshops, and events at the Energy Education Center.

  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including printing, scanning, copying, and sorting mail.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, appointments, and event attendance.

  • Prepare and distribute communication materials as needed.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and staff.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • 0–3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative support role.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Basic experience with mail handling, scheduling, printing, and scanning tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must pass a background check.

  • Badge access required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and other internet-based applications.

  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, particularly in administrative or call center settings.

  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and support event-based operations.
