Now hiring Customer Site Service Manager CSSM Southfield MI BASF Coatings LLC is seeking a Customer Site Service Manager CSSM Southfield MI to support the daily operation of BASF coatings products in customer automotive assembly plants by providing on-site technical and application oversight. Respond to customer requirements enforce product qualityperformance specification and support new productapplication development. Oversee product performance including color management defect identification process root causing and corrective actions implementation. Develop and support key customer relationships. Support the efforts of a BASF salestechnical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support problem investigation analysis and resolution. Assure product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business growth objectives to be our customers supplier of choice. Control key performance indicators within product service environments to drive problem resolution and product improvement initiatives critical to customer performance expectations. Use ability to train and mentor members of the team to ensure the customer is receiving the best possible service. 15 domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted. Supervise 6 direct reports holding the job titles of Field Technical Service Representatives. Job Requirements The position requires a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related and five 5 years of experience in OEM Paint Application. 15 domestic travel.
