Job Summary:
The morning Courier plays a role in the safe and timely transportation of laboratory specimens from client facilites to Midtown Lab. This position supports tow scheduled runs each morning, covering approximately 40 locations across the tri-state area (Indiana and Kentucky). The courier ensures that specimens are picked up, handled and delivered in accordance with regulatory standards and internal protocols, enabling efficient lab processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Specimen Collection & Transport
Perform two scheduled morning runs:
First Run: ~17 stops in the Petersburg/Oakland City/Gibson/Princeton/Ft. Branch area
Second Run: ~10 stops in the Henderson/Owensboro/Reo area
Collect routine and STAT specimens from nursing homes, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
Ensure specimens are properly packaged, labeled, and stored during transport
Delivery to Midtown Lab
