Customer Service Specialist (Contract)
Location: Kansas City, MO Fully Onsite (MondayFriday)
Pay Rate: $1921/hour
Duration: Long-Term / Indefinite Contract
About the Role
A leading retail and consumer products company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support customers through product inquiries, order support, and day-to-day service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product questions, order updates, returns, and general support inquiries
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and guidance on a wide range of products and accessories
- Process customer orders, exchanges, and account updates accurately and efficiently
- Resolve customer concerns professionally while delivering a high level of service
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up actions
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction
- Support daily operational and administrative tasks as needed
- Stay informed on new products, promotions, and company offerings
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, or support experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high customer interaction
- Interest in music, audio equipment, consumer electronics, or related products is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer and data entry skills required
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
