Customer Service Specialist II
Location: Albany, New York (Hybrid)-2x on-site, 3 days work from home
Employment Type: Contract to hire
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Customer Service Specialist II to support a state-level health program. In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution by providing support via telephone and the internet to resolve issues and respond to inquiries. You will handle inbound phone calls from service providers regarding billing or enrollment, utilizing your knowledge to assist with their claims.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of related customer service experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Additional Skills: Strong telephone and verbal communication skills, a focus on customer needs, and the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Candidates must be able to commute to the office two times per week.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour (paid weekly on W2). There is potential for conversion to a full-time role with a salary between $44,000 and $46,000 annually.
