We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Customer Service Specialist opportunity with a nationally recognized healthcare system that combines cutting-edge medical innovation with compassionate, patient-centred care, offering rewarding career growth in a supportive environment.

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Answering phones for public and internal customers (employees, patients, visitors), documenting and dispatching work requests.
  • Filling in for CR1 staff on any shift as needed.
  • Monitoring environmental alarms, including doors, gates, parking lot intercoms, and CCTV.
  • Assisting with workflow and assignments for patient transporters.
  • Leading or participating in departmental projects and special assignments.
  • Providing feedback to leadership to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and maximize department performance.
  • Performing all duties in a competent, professional, and courteous manner, with flexibility for reassignment of duties as directed by management.
Required qualifications for the position include:
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to operate cameras.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
  • Experience in administrative support, customer service, healthcare, call center, or dispatch services.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
