Ibsen Insurance Agency is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our growing insurance agency. This role is focused on providing exceptional customer service, supporting existing clients, and ensuring policy service needs are handled accurately, efficiently, and with care.


This is a customer service and support role, not a sales position. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, solving problems, staying organized, and building long-term client relationships through excellent service.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support

  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
  • Assist clients with policy changes, coverage updates, billing questions, and general service needs
  • Help clients understand their coverage and next steps
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text while documenting all interactions in agency systems


Service Coordination & Follow-Up

  • Track and follow up on open service items to ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate service work handled by carrier partners and internal team members
  • Monitor service requests to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Escalate complex issues to licensed team members when appropriate


Administrative & Documentation Support

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
  • Follow established workflows and procedures
  • Support renewal-related service communications
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to client service


Team & Professional Growth

  • Work in a team-oriented environment that values professionalism, accountability, and growth
  • Participate in training and accept coaching to improve performance

Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and Microsoft 365
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow processes
  • Professional appearance and communication style
  • Coachable, reliable, trustworthy, and ethical


Licensing Requirements

Insurance license not required at hire. Willingness to obtain licensing in the future is a plus. Licensing support and career growth opportunities available for the right candidate.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior office, administrative, or customer service experience
  • Insurance agency experience is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus but not required
