Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contact customers to define the necessary scope of work.
  • Work closely with credit and compliance to ensure orders are completed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Work on difficult issues regarding client complaints and other issues.
  • Work closely with department managers, such as sales, on updating policies and procedures for client services.
  • Creation and control of quotes according to customer needs by successfully following the completion of the Contract Review and Risk Analysis.
  • Communicate with customers on Contract Review and/or Risk Analysis matters for clarification.
  • Responsible for ensuring purchase orders received from customers are aligned with quotes and confirm customer eligibility.
  • Responsible for revising and adjusting quotes.
  • Communicate with the customer regularly reporting progress of all jobs in order to keep them properly informed.
  • Identify potential improvement opportunities within the applicable systems and work with relevant departments on such improvement.
  • Pursue continuous improvement on their own activities and operations.
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies and procedures established by the Quality Management System, HSE, as well as all other Corporate guidelines.
  • Backup to Customer Service Assistant, performing duties such as international sales orders, letters of credit, and creating export documentation with HTS and ECCN codes.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • High educational degree (desirable)
  • Sales Specialization (desirable)
  • Mechanical knowledge is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
