Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers by phone by providing helpful, professional, and accurate information regarding healthcare enrollment options.
  • Guide individuals through the enrollment process and help them understand available choices.
  • Answer questions, resolve concerns, and provide excellent customer service in a supportive call center environment.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and update information in computer systems.
  • Explain program information clearly and ensure customers understand next steps.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle customer information with professionalism and care.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Participate in training and stay informed on program updates and procedures.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a call center environment required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred; call center experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence.
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems.
  • Ability to listen, problem-solve, and assist customers with patience and empathy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Healthcare, Medicaid, or insurance experience is helpful but not required - training is provided.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience in health/human services and knowledge of Medicaid preferred.
  • Strong PC proficiency required.
