Business Development Center (BDC) Representative

Toyota of Hattiesburg is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our team. The BDC Representative is responsible for handling incoming service calls, building relationships with potential customers, and scheduling appointments for our Service Department.
This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll work closely with the BDC Manager, Service Advisors, Service Managers, and support staff to ensure a seamless service process.
Receive and manage inbound service calls and internet leads
Identify customer needs and schedule service appointments
Place outbound calls to follow up on leads and generate new opportunities
Address client questions prior to appointments (cost, warranty, time frame, etc.)
Confirm customer appointments before scheduled times
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Background in customer service, sales, or telemarketing
Proficient with computers and CRM systems
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
1–2 years of related experience and/or training preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
