Our hospital is built on a strong culture of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual support, where helping one another is part of our everyday commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and client service. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and being an integral part of a close-knit healthcare team, we'd love to meet you. Previous veterinary experience is a plus, but it's not required-we're happy to train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and shares our passion for providing compassionate care.

  • Schedule: A full-time schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, with 2-3 Saturdays per month as part of our team rotation.

  • Attire: Scrubs are provided upon hire, with annual replenishment on your employment anniversary so you'll always have a fresh, professional uniform.

  • Competitive Pay: $18-$24.50 per hour, with compensation determined by your experience, skills, and the value you bring to our team.

At VCA Animal Hospitals, our mission is simple: your pet's health is our top priority, and exceptional service is our commitment. Every interaction is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between pets, their families, and our team. We strive to provide compassionate care, outstanding service, and a welcoming experience that exceeds expectations.

  • Present treatment estimates, explain fees, process payments, and manage financial transactions accurately.
  • Prepare and dispense prescriptions and assist clients with product recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, client communications, and hospital documentation.
  • Support hospital organization by keeping reception and common areas clean, welcoming, and professional, including assisting with routine cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care and client service.
