Location: St. Louis Park, MN
Compensation: $21.00-$25.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | Flexible Business Hours

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Customer Service Representative for an industrial supply distributor in St. Louis Park, MN. In this role, you'll support a growing sales team by managing orders, resolving customer issues, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and problem-solving while working with customers and vendors, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Customer Service Representative:• Process purchase orders and generate quotes for products and services
• Review orders for accuracy and completeness using internal and external systems
• Communicate with customers and vendors via phone and email (inbound and outbound)
• Resolve product and order issues in collaboration with the sales team
• Provide updates on order status, lead times, and shipping details
• Identify errors and take corrective action to improve processes
• Serve as a liaison between customers, sales, and internal departments
What You Need to Bring to the Customer Service Representative role:• Experience navigating multiple software systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with timely follow-up• Knowledge of manufacturing preferred • Ability to work independently and know when to ask questions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
• Positive attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to build relationships with customers and team members
