Customer Service Representative (Direct Hire | Onsite)
Location: Downtown Indianapolis, IN Salary: $48,000 – $50,000 annually Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | Fully onsite
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing organization in downtown Indianapolis to hire a Customer Service Representative for a direct hire opportunity. This is a critical role on a tight-knit 3-person team where personality, reliability, and customer focus are key to success.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with internal sales teams and customers
- Provide real-time support on:
- Product availability and inventory checks
- Shipping status and tracking updates
- Order processing and replacement requests
- Enter and manage purchase orders via phone, email, fax, and EDI systems
- Investigate and resolve shipping delays and order discrepancies
- Support both individual customers and larger commercial accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and urgency
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems and spreadsheets
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of customer service experience (call center or high-volume environment preferred)
- Comfortable being on the phone for the majority of the day
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage customer concerns
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Experience working with an ERP system (any platform)
- Intermediate Excel skills (able to navigate spreadsheets, track data, and update information)
