Job Opening: Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative

Titan Virginia Ready Mix has an immediate opening for a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative in Richmond, VA. This is a salaried non-exempt position reporting to the Dispatch Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Order taking • Scheduling • Dispatching • Customer relations • Maintaining efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system • Resolving transportation conflicts and handling unusual and difficult customer complaints • Providing customer support to ensure maximum efficiency • Embracing and enhancing a performance-based Safety Culture • Being positive and upbeat in all communications with customers and other departments • Relentlessly pursuing a solution to every issue that a customer brings to them • Identifying and communicating repairs and maintenance of logistics communication equipment

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent required, secondary education preferred • Two to four years' experience in dispatch or logistics required; construction industry experience preferred • Ability to work well under pressure; previous customer service experience in a high-pressure/high-volume environment required • Excellent PC skills, Excel, Outlook, Word; previous experience with Trimble a plus • Familiarity with geographical areas in Northern Virginia • Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime • Good telephone and 2-way radio skills; ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner
