Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team on 2nd shift. This critical role involves coordinating warehouse activities, managing inventory data, and processing orders to ensure efficient logisticsoperations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and possess strong data entry and communication skills.

Customer Service Representative Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 23.50 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm)
  • Additional overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends.
  • Coordinate workload allocation among warehouse workers, material handlers, and drivers to optimize operational flow and efficiency.
  • Prepare and process work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assign and release orders for both inbound and outbound loading and unloading activities.
  • Allocate and research inventory to fulfill orders, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Perform precise data entry for all inbound and outbound freight information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods throughout the 8.5-hour shift.
  • Proven experience in data entry, inventory control, or a customer service role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
