The Role
We are looking for a sharp, organized, and proactive Commercial Lines Service Team Member to join our office. This person will be the backbone of our commercial accounts book handling day-to-day service, client communications, and coverage questions with precision and follow-through. When capacity allows, this role also supports our personal lines service team and identifies cross-sell opportunities for commercial clients.
This is not a passive role. We move fast, and we need someone who can keep up, communicate clearly, and always know exactly where things stand.
Salary Range: $36000.00 - $48000.00 per month

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day service needs for the agency's commercial lines book of business
Handle policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, billing questions, and coverage inquiries
Communicate proactively with clients and carriers written and verbal with clarity and professionalism
Track tasks to completion and provide clear status updates to the team and agency principal
Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system (Jenesis)
Coordinate with producers and account managers on commercial accounts
Secondary Responsibilities
Identify and act on cross-sell opportunities within the commercial book when appropriate
Assist the personal lines service team during high-volume periods
Support the agency's overall client experience and retention efforts
Required
Active Oregon P&C license (non-negotiable)
Strong verbal and written communication skills you must be able to explain where things stand at any point
Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks and prioritize effectively
Accountability: you own your work from start to finish
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation office environment
Preferred
Experience servicing commercial lines accounts at an independent or captive agency
Familiarity with Jenesis or similar agency management systems
Experience with COI issuance, endorsements, and carrier portals
Cross-sell experience or appetite to grow into that function
