Position Overview
Simco Insurance Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our Home & Auto (Personal Lines) business. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional client experience by managing day-to-day service needs, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring policy accuracy and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to coverage, billing, and claims
- Provide clear, accurate explanations of policy details, including coverage limits, exclusions, and premiums
- Process policy changes such as endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and updates to client information
- Assist clients with claims questions and provide guidance through the claims process
- Resolve client issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring high satisfaction
- Generate and present insurance quotes, including comparisons across carriers when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions within agency systems
- Work across agency management systems, carrier portals, and internal tools to ensure seamless service delivery
- Partner with producers and carriers to support client retention and account growth
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active NYS Personal Lines license required
- NYS Commercial Insurance license preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Personal Lines insurance experience required
- Experience working with agency management systems (EZLynx preferred)
- Strong understanding of Home & Auto insurance products and coverage
