Customer Service Representative

Our Schaumburg based client is a worldwide provider of high end decorator and building products and is seeking a professional, well spoken Customer Service Rep to provide amazing Customer Service for their discerning client base.

The right candidatemust be able to work full time hours 8-5pm. Strong communication skills and excellent written skills are a must.

Position is 100% onsite

Benefits, work environment, vacation time and medical benefits are all world class upon moving from a contract to full time role usually within 3 months.

Responsibilities

  • You'll be responding to customer requests to place orders, checking stock & pricing, managing the return process, handling other inbound inquiries, and documenting all inquiries in our computer database.
  • You'll use your exceptional phone presence, people skills, and problem-solving ability to resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • You'll be handling customer inquiries via email with your strong written communication skills and knowledge of email etiquette.
  • As a small business within a large firm, successful candidates must acclimate well to our “all hands on deck” culture in which we support all facets of the business. You'll help out others when needed, and you'll get the same in return!

Requirements

  • As a high-end distributor, customers expect outstanding service. Candidates must be exceptionally articulate, personable, and possess a strong attention to detail.
  • A strong phone presence and excellent written/verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must have a great attitude, genuinely enjoy talking to customers, and be proactive in helping them resolve any issues.
  • Must work well individually as well as part of a team.
  • 2 years of office experience preferred (e.g. administrative, customer service, executive assistant, call center, etc.
