Position Summary

The Program Assistant provides front-line customer service and administrative support. This role handles client inquiries, routes calls, assists with applications, updates records, and provides program status information to applicants and landlords.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service in person, by phone, and via email
  • Answer and route multi-line agency phones; take and forward messages
  • Assist applicants with program information, waitlist status, and online applications
  • Review and process applications; help residents upload documents
  • Research client cases and update internal software and tracking logs
  • Schedule program appointments and prepare correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records
  • Perform clerical support and other assigned duties


Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of customer service experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Strong communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain professionalism, and manage deadlines

Working hours are 8 to 5 Monday to Friday.
$20/hr.
Position could become full time with the company.
