Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic Benefit Payment Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customer support, call handling, and MS Office tools and a proven ability to learn quickly, implement feedback, and deliver accurate assistance to retirees regarding pension payments and related inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage inbound calls from retirees and beneficiaries.
- Understand caller requests, resolve issues, and route per client profile when appropriate.
- Assist with questions about pension payments, tax forms, withholdings, and web portal navigation.
- Send and track forms via mail, fax, and email.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet research, and email.
- Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette with a customer service focus.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage time in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to take and implement feedback quickly and learn new processes.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting retirees, payroll, or benefits administration.
- Demonstrated progression in responsibilities in school or work settings.
Work Schedule & Onsite Expectation:
- Onsite, office-based schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00/5:30 p.m.
- Overtime eligible as needed.
Interview Process & Notes:
- Single-round Zoom panel interview.
- Contract extension and conversion to full-time are performance dependent.
- Role is not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support.
