Job Description:

A leading energy provider is seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representatives to support its Houston Contact Center, servicing Texas SMB commercial customers. This is a hybrid role with onsite presence required every Wednesday.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls related to billing inquiries, service cancellations, and transfers

  • Manage email responses, live messaging, and outbound call campaigns

  • Utilize internal systems (CRM and phone systems) for documentation and service

  • Perform light administrative tasks during downtime

  • Provide empathetic, professional customer support while adhering to call quality standards

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)

  • 1+ year of customer service experience (retail or call center acceptable)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Typing speed of 45+ WPM

  • Basic computer proficiency; able to pass an 85%+ computer literacy test

  • Ability to pass phone etiquette test and basic math/literacy assessments

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with multi-line phone systems (e.g., Avaya, Cisco)

  • CRM experience (e.g., CC&B, NOVA, Medisoft)


Interview & Onboarding:

  • Virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams

  • Equipment provided (pickup required on Day 1)

  • Hybrid training model; in-office every Wednesday
