Must attend 100% of 2.5–3 week training (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily)
Job Description:
A leading energy provider is seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representatives to support its Houston Contact Center, servicing Texas SMB commercial customers. This is a hybrid role with onsite presence required every Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls related to billing inquiries, service cancellations, and transfers
Manage email responses, live messaging, and outbound call campaigns
Utilize internal systems (CRM and phone systems) for documentation and service
Perform light administrative tasks during downtime
Provide empathetic, professional customer support while adhering to call quality standards
Requirements:
Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
1+ year of customer service experience (retail or call center acceptable)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Typing speed of 45+ WPM
Basic computer proficiency; able to pass an 85%+ computer literacy test
Ability to pass phone etiquette test and basic math/literacy assessments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multi-line phone systems (e.g., Avaya, Cisco)
CRM experience (e.g., CC&B, NOVA, Medisoft)
Interview & Onboarding:
Virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams
Equipment provided (pickup required on Day 1)
Hybrid training model; in-office every Wednesday
