Customer Service Associate (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional support to ARDEX Retail and Distribution customers across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Corporate Office in Center Township, approximately 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh International Airport
- Work Flexibility: Flexible work arrangements available after successful completion of training
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, timely execution of all customer support processes
- Serve customers within your assigned territory, ensuring high-quality service
- Take ownership of customer needs and make independent decisions to deliver the best outcomes
- Responsible for acquiring freight rates on LTL special shipments and filing freight damage claims for designated territory
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Preferred Minimum 1-2 years customer or sales support experience, with demonstrable independent account management
- Minimum of (1) year order processing, invoicing and invoice adjustment experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Experience in customer service or support roles preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP and SAP processes or other integrated accounting system is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations (U.S. and International) affecting exporting and coordinating with the various internal departments to ensure customs compliance of export documentation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of shipping process
Education
- Associate's degree preferred or high school diploma.
