Be the face of our company by building strong, lasting relationships with customers through regular on-site visits and exceptional support. In this role, you’ll proactively follow up on equipment, parts, and service sales, provide solutions to customer concerns, identify new aftermarket sales opportunities, and deliver technical guidance when needed. What You’ll Do:
- Customer Relationship & Territory Growth: Build strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits, proactive follow-up support, and responsive communication while developing and expanding the assigned territory to maximize market potential, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
- Parts, Service & Aftermarket Sales: Promote and sell OEM and aftermarket ground engaging tools, undercarriage components, wear parts, repair services, extended warranties, maintenance plans, machine inspections, overhauls, job quotes, and special parts promotions.
- Customer Support & Problem Resolution: Conduct follow-up visits and calls on equipment, parts, and service sales to ensure customer satisfaction, identify additional sales opportunities, address customer concerns, and provide effective solutions.
- Post-Sale & Technical Support: Partner with the Sales Department to ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and provide introductions and limited technical support for John Deere Worksite Solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Complete all assigned training and stay current on products, services, and industry developments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, service, training, or related roles within the heavy equipment or construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of parts, machinery, and equipment applications.
- Customer-Focused: Strong relationship-building skills with a professional, solution-oriented mindset.
- Tech-Savvy: Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and staying current with digital sales tools and telematics.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel throughout assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
- Driver’s License: Valid license with an acceptable driving record, as travel is part of the role.
