We help every day through the financial solutions we offer, the client activities we support, and the resources we provide to the Christian community and nonprofit organizations.Position SummaryThe Customer Service Administrator (Paraplanner) position will come alongside our Advisors to learn how to create financial plans and soak up firm-specific procedures and processes. Key responsibilities include preparation of financial plans, investment research and analysis, and coordination of client service needs with team members. The Customer Service Administrator (Paraplanner) reports to and is employed by Emerald Financial Group. This is an in-office position.This position provides a growth track to obtain FINRA SIE 7/66 as well as MN Life and Health licensing within the first year.Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities* Enter client information into various systems* Prepare and update financial plans and presentation material for client meetings* Enter information into financial planning software and prepare draft financial plans* Deepen existing client relationships through making sure client information and documentation is up to date* Research and respond to client inquiries* Finalize, submit, and track all client account and application paperwork* Assist in generating performance reports* Maintain information in CRM (Salesforce) system* Fill out necessary forms for opening and maintaining accounts* Identify and offer recommendations on how to optimize workflows* Other responsibilities as assignedPosition Qualifications* Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2+ years preferred* Extremely strong organizational skills* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce) or ability to learn* Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions* Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information* Basic understanding of our products, services, and Thrivent FinancialCompetencies* Planning/Organizing* Analytical* Client Focus* Communication* Interpersonal Skills* Teamwork and Collaboration* Adaptability/FlexibilityExternal/Internal Dependencies* Must be able to work with all roles of the Emerald Financial Group* Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients* Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations* Must be comfortable participating in our digital and social media presence, including photos and videos featured on our website and platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and InstagramCompensation and BenefitsHere, you'll enjoy:* $27.50* Medical, dental, and vision available.* Employer paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability.* 401(k) with company match.* Personal time off.* 7 Paid holidays.As part of Emerald Financial Group's recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process.
