Customer Operations Specialist
About the Role
Aalchem is seeking a highly detail-oriented and solutions-focused Customer Operations Specialist to join our team. This role goes well beyond traditional customer service. The right person will enjoy working through complex information, solving problems, coordinating across departments, and ensuring orders are processed accurately from start to finish.
This position is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, organized, and comfortable navigating situations that do not always have a clear or standard answer. You will work closely with customers, sales, purchasing, and warehouse/inventory teams to support order processing, inventory verification, shipment coordination, and customer communication.
If you enjoy solving puzzles, managing details, asking good questions, and finding the right answer rather than relying on a script, this could be a strong fit.

While prior customer service experience can be helpful, this role is often a better fit for individuals who have succeeded in detail-intensive positions where accuracy, coordination, and problem-solving were key parts of the job. Candidates with backgrounds in administrative support, logistics, operations, technical support, account management, distribution, order processing, inventory, or similar roles may transition especially well into this position.
