This position will serve as the “go-to“ person by the retailer's leadership team for best practices, innovation, and engagementwhile maintaining a bias for growth by driving sales and constantly exploring additional opportunities for incremental revenue and margin results. The Customer Development Director II is deeply connected with CCCI's field operations and leadership teams to ensure that business plans are efficiently executed as agreed upon.Customer: National Convenience Retail - Circle KDuties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop, negotiate, and maintaina strategic partnership status with the customer to ensure joint business plans are achievedEstablishand leadcross-functional relationships with field operations, product supply, marketing, and revenue generation management to ensure alignment to respective strategic objectivesCoach, teach, and train (instructs) the field operations teams on alignment to customers sales plans, best practices, and expectationsCreate, maintain, and updatecritical sales correspondence to ensure the operations teams have the most up to date execution plans for assigned customerCultivate, sustainand maintain ongoing relationships and attends meetings, as needed with key external business partners (NRS, brand, bottler, and other relevant partners) to drive incremental growth to objectivesCollaboratewith Revenue Generation colleague to compile and report key business results to CCCI's Sr. Leadership teamAnalyzedata to determine opportunities and implement tactics to reverse or sustain trendsDevelopand executesales programs and conduct post-analysis reviews, to gain an understanding of the effectivenessMakeadjustments as needed to sustain or reverse trendsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAdvanced ability to develop, negotiate and execute complex and strategic joint business plans with the assigned customerStrong ability to quickly bond and rapport to achieve a strategic partnership status throughout customers organizationMust have strong negotiation and persuasion skillsResponsive customer service skills with a proactive mindsetStrong organizational management skills required with the ability to collaborate with all facets of the business including field operations, marketing, product supply, revenue generation management, and the National Retail Sales TeamAbility to partner cross-functionally with other department leaders to accomplish goals and objectivesAdvanced analytical and critical thinking skills preferredExcellent organizational, time management, attention to detail, and team-building skills are requiredAbility to work independentlyStrong leadership, coaching, and presentation abilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skills requiredAbility to prioritize multiple assignments with time-sensitive and critical deadlinesAdept in handling ambiguityComputer proficiency in MS Office particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPointMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree four (4) yearsKnowledge acquired through five (5) to seven (7) years of work experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, Sociology, or PsychologyOvernight Travel Requirement - Approx 40%This position will sit in Nashville, TN or surrounding areaEqual Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
