Customer Service Representative – Onsite | East Hartford, CT

Pay Rate: $21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: East Hartford, CT
Weekends Off | Full-Time | Paid Training | Benefits

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to support our client's consumer programs as the first point of contact. In this role, you'll assist callers with account inquiries, program information, and password resets through the online customer portal. You'll use your communication skills, patience, and problem-solving ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience on every call.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for consumers and providers regarding client programs.

  • Answer incoming calls and provide accurate, clear information.

  • Assist with account access and password reset issues.

  • Document all customer interactions accurately in the call-tracking system.

  • Escalate calls to leadership or appropriate state agencies following procedures.

  • Identify customer trends and recommend service improvements.

  • Handle difficult or escalated customer situations professionally.

  • Meet or exceed performance goals for call volume, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 6 months of call center or customer service experience, or an Associate's degree (no experience required)

  • Ability to type 35 WPM and pass a customer service assessment

  • Ability to pass a background check and 8-panel drug screen
