The Role

This is not a counting job. The Customer Account Representative is a customer retention engine - the face of TCH Industries at our customers' facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Your primary responsibility is Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI): you own the full cycle of your assigned accounts, from scheduled site visits and physical stock counts to replenishment coordination, discrepancy resolution, and continuous relationship building.

You will be trusted with accounts that matter. Your customers rely on you to keep their hose and industrial supply inventory stocked and their operations running without interruption. You will work autonomously in the field, coordinating closely with our inside Operations and Sales teams, and documenting your activity in TrulinX ERP. If you are a self-starter who takes genuine ownership of outcomes - not just tasks - and you want to build something real at a fast-growing company, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct scheduled inventory counts at assigned customer sites throughout Northeast Ohio - on time, every time
  • Monitor stock levels against agreed min/max thresholds and trigger replenishment before shortages occur - proactive, not reactive
  • Reconcile system inventory against physical counts; identify and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately
  • Build and maintain trusted, professional relationships with customer contacts - you are their primary point of contact and their first call when something needs attention
  • Coordinate with TCH's Operations and Sales teams to ensure customers receive the right products on the right timeline
  • Track account KPIs, document site visit activity, and maintain accurate records in TrulinX ERP
  • Proactively identify upsell opportunities and service improvement areas - bring ideas forward that benefit both the customer and TCH
  • Represent TCH Industries and Koehler Rubber professionally at all customer locations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable personal transportation - this is a field-based role with regular local travel throughout Northeast Ohio
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline; you manage multiple accounts and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Clear and professional communicator - written, verbal, and relational; you build trust with customers and colleagues alike
  • Self-starter who works well independently, manages their own schedule, and takes ownership of outcomes

Preferred:

  • Prior VMI, supply chain, or manufacturing experience - not required, we will train you on our way
  • Familiarity with industrial distribution, hose products, or fluid conveyance components
  • Experience working in an ERP or inventory management system; TrulinX experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of owning accounts or customer relationships end-to-end

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Field-based role throughout Northeast Ohio - local travel, home every day
