Job Summary
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Cleaner to support facility cleanliness and maintenance operations. This is a temporary contract position covering an extended employee leave; the assignment is not expected to extend beyond the current end date.

Contract Duration: Temporary (leave coverage, not expected to extend)
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 10-hour shifts, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM (2nd shift)
Location: On-site at a manufacturing facility
Travel: None required

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain buildings and property in clean, orderly condition
- Perform routine maintenance and heavy cleaning duties
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors; empty trash and operate compactor
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restroom facilities
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; clean windows, mirrors, and partitions
- Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals per established procedures
- Operate power cleaning equipment safely to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Polish fixtures and furniture; shampoo or steam-clean carpets and rugs
- Manage cleaning supply inventory and coordinate with vendors
- Notify management of needed repairs; create work orders to resolve maintenance issues
- Maintain compliance with EH&S and GMP training and certification requirements

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures for manufacturing facilities
- Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
- Background handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals safely
- Knowledge of occupational hazard safety rules
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to work overhead, in tight spaces, and in extreme environments
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in shop, mechanics, or industrial hygiene
- Relevant certifications
