Job Summary
Under general supervision - plan, direct, supervises or perform routine cleaning, grounds-keeping, and variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on school buildings and equipment and does related work as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: >Education equivalent to completion of 12th grade. >Five (5) years experience in custodial and maintenance work including two (2) years of supervising employees. > Valid Class lll California Driver's License. Desirable: >School related experience This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on Range 19. This position serves at our Greeley Hill Elementary and Coulterville High School and is 8 hours per day for 261 days a year (12 months). Greeley Hill Elementary/Coulterville High School is a rural school located in the beautiful Stanislaus National Forest of northwestern Mariposa County, near Yosemite National Park. We are a K-8 school of approximately 80 pupils. The school was established in the early 1900s and reopened in 2015 as a K-8 elementary school. With approximately 1,700 students, the area consists of several necessary small schools, K-8 schools, and one comprehensive high school. Mariposa County has several rural communities that surround Yosemite National Park and are centrally located in California to provide a day s drive to old-growth forests, deserts, coastal communities, and cities. The area is suited for those interested in outdoor activities and rural community life.
