Job Description
Our client is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety within school facilities. This role involves routine cleaning, building maintenance, and supporting school events as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Maintenance
Sweep, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
Clean restrooms, classrooms, and common areas
Empty trash, clean blackboards, and perform general custodial duties
Dust and maintain overall cleanliness of the building
Facility Support
Open buildings for events, meetings, and school functions as needed
Ensure the building is secure at the end of each shift
Support operations across multiple elementary school locations
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in a physically active role
