South Shore Technical is seeking a part time Custodian to join our maintenance and custodial staff in maintaining our buildings and providing staff and students with a clean, safe school building. Motivated individual with a willingness to train on processes of efficient cleaning techniques assigned to the afternoon/evening shift that features after school activities and assist with set up and breakdown of events, and may include an occasional weekend for special school events or emergency/weather related assignments.
Qualifications:
1.Two years of related experience and knowledge of facility cleaning and the use of a variety of cleaning chemicals is preferred.
Position Goal:To maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment for all students and staff.
Performance Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Facilities Director and/or Principal, Assistant Principal.
Candidates must be eligible and willing to become licensed as a Massachusetts School Bus Driver within six months of hire. (Mass. School Bus Drivers have a Commercial Driver''s License with "S" and "P" endorsements.) Paid training for school bus driver licensure is provided; The District also reimburses expenses associated with maintenance of school bus driver license.
Shift: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Hourly pay starting at $25.46, based on relevant work experience and training. This is a benefits-eligible, union position with membership in the Plymouth County Retirement System.
