SOWELA Technical Community College is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Custodian 1, 2, or 3 in the Facilities and Maintenance department. This role is responsible for performing routine and specialized cleaning duties to maintain campus buildings and facilities. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and contributes to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the campus community.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Perform custodial duties to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary buildings and grounds.

  • Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, common areas, windows, walls, and floors.

  • Sweep, mop, dust, polish, strip, buff, and wax floors as needed.

  • Empty trash receptacles and properly use cleaning products and equipment.

  • Maintain custodial supplies and equipment and assist with inventory activities.

  • Set up furniture for meetings and events, perform minor maintenance tasks, and report facility repair needs.
