JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
- Cultivating strong and trusting relationships with customers and direct reports. This includes soliciting real-time feedback and responding to issues with a sense of urgency
- Supervising daily activities and work schedules to ensure work is completed on schedule and in accordance with Mister Kleen’s quality control standards; documenting inspections and status of open action items
- Performing new-hire and ongoing training and development activities for direct reports
- Evaluating team performance on an ongoing basis and motivating them to perform to their maximum ability; documenting disciplinary issues that arise
- Establishing work schedules and work assignments
- Coordinating various cleaning and specialty projects including staffing, budget, equipment, and work assignments
Ensuring strict compliance with established safety procedures and standards and recommending enhancements - Maintaining optimum inventory levels and ensuring products meet U.S. Green Building Council’s “Sustainable Purchasing” standards
- Recommending best practices in products, supplies, methods and practices
- Monitoring and reviewing employee timekeeping for biweekly payroll processing
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- An active Top-Secret security clearance or higher
- Custodial experience is a plus, but not required for a candidate with strong project management experience
- Demonstrated success in managing contract-based service employees and in meeting contract deliverables
- A proven track record of developing teams, including coaching and mentoring employees
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients
- Work hour flexibility based on business needs.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) skills required.
