Position Summary

The College of Education (COE) is Oregons largest and most comprehensive college of education. In the next five years, the COE will be nationally recognized for working collaboratively with the surrounding communities, Tribal Nations, and our students to advance equity and excellence in education and counseling through our engaged research activities and community-centered and culturally responsive professional-preparation programs.
The COE mission is to prepare students to advance lifelong learning in diverse learning environments, including schools, post-secondary institutions, community organizations, and social service and health agencies.
Position Summary
The College of Education, Department of Curriculum & Instruction, invites applications for Adjunct Instructors with expertise in following core program areas:
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) • English as Speaker of Other Language (ESOL) • Bilingual Teacher Pathway (BTP) • Bilingual-Bicultural Education • Literacy-Reading • Infant-Toddler Mental Health (ITMH) • Library Media • Mathematics • International Teacher Education • Elementary Education • Secondary Education • Teacher Leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Education or closely related field • Previous teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ed.D or Ph.D. in Education or closely related field • Experience teaching adults

Compensation:
Adjunct faculty are hired on either an annual or a per-term basis and paid per credit hour per the PSUFA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
